Message Think about it this way, if you jack up just one of the rear sides of the car, the chassis would creak and flex. Say if you opened the door on that side and tried to close it, you will definitely notice the deformation of the chassis.

The RLB braces the frame rails in the back and reduces that chasis flex. The rear strut tower bars and sway bars do nothing to help that flex. I think we all agree that a stiff chassis makes a difference in handling.

From a driver's standpoint, its hard to tell the difference with the RLB. If you have ever driven a slicktop back to back with a T-top Z32, you can tell the slicktop is much stiffer or more rigid. The feel of the RLB is sort of like that, though not as dramatic.

For me the other big reason to having the RLB is that it provides a place for me to strap down the car for dyno and towing. The stock tow hooks do not fit with the B&B quad oval tips...
